About blockspace.to
Tracks spent sats. A Blockspace Labs product.
blockspace.to is an ord explorer for Bitcoin: inscriptions, runes, blocks, transactions and sats. It runs a version of ord with one addition, the spent-sats index.
What "spent sats" means
Every bitcoin output holds a range of numbered sats. Standard ord tracks those ranges only while an output is unspent. Once the output is spent, ord forgets which sats it held.
blockspace.to keeps them. For any output, spent or not, it can still tell you which sats it held. So you can check which sats any past output held, not only where sats sit today. A sat's own page still shows only where it is now. Read more on spent sats in blockspace.wiki.
An example: block 170
Take the first output of the second transaction in block 170. It has been spent, but blockspace.to still shows its sats:
- output
f4184fc596403b9d638783cf57adfe4c75c605f6356fbc91338530e9831e9e16:0- spent
- yes
- sat range
- 45,000,000,000 to 46,000,000,000 (the end is exclusive)
Read from that output's page, as of block 972,320, 2026-10-20 12:17 UTC.
Query it
The data pages also answer in JSON. Send Accept: application/json:
curl -H 'Accept: application/json' https://www.blockspace.to/output/f4184fc596403b9d638783cf57adfe4c75c605f6356fbc91338530e9831e9e16:0
The same works for /sat/<number>, /inscription/<id>, /block/<height> and /status. Please query what you need instead of crawling: per-item pages are kept out of search on purpose.
The index today
- height
- 972,320
- inscriptions
- 128,170,184
- runes
- 216,423
From /status, as of block 972,320, 2026-10-20 12:17 UTC. The live figures are on that page.
